ULTAR is a five-piece band from the heart of Siberia, Krasnoyarsk town, which is placed amidst the howling woods and red mountains. In genre terms, the band could be thought of as sonic alchemists who blend ingredients from black metal, post-metal, and shoegaze, with a talent for creating dramatic melodies that have emotional intensity as well as staying power.

The overwhelming epicness of the ULTAR shows brings you the majestic triumph of the Lovecraftian Elder Gods, an unforgettable experience full of truly intense emotions.

The band’s first two albums Kadath and PANTHEON MMXIX have received highly positive feedback from all over the world, not only from the listeners but also from the top media such as Metal Hammer, Loudwire and Terrorizer as well. It also led them to Loudwire’s “10 Up-and-Coming Metal Bands You Need to Hear in 2019” and to play numerous opening shows with such bands as Behemoth, Cradle of Filth, Myrkur, Carach Angren, Suffocation, Vltimas, Hate, Wiegedood, Alcest, Swallow the Sun, Harakiri for the Sky, and The Ocean.
