Strja “Strja”

A three-song EP to present an all-Italian reality dedicated to both powerful and atmospheric black metal. There is no shortage of classic tremolo picking guitar harmonizations that envelop the listener in a whirlwind of emotions suspended between the mystical and the melancholic. There is no shortage of double bass accelerations typical of the genre, while there is practically no extremity of black metal, such as drum blast beats, which in fact are not present in any song.

The band seems to follow the exploits of other Italian bands such as Spite Extreme Wing and Janus, but in some ways it also reminds a bit of the first Negura Bunget. In short, if these are the premises we will only have to wait for the first full-length to better understand where the band wants to go, and the path it can take could prove very interesting.

For now we are faced with three simple songs but played and recorded very well, and what’s more the band manages to excite. What more could you want from an atmospheric black metal product?
