the lucky little red house announces the release of their sixth album, “FAKE YOU”, which is a labyrinth where a repetitive and hypnotic heaviness, somewhat reminiscent of Swans, the abrasive energy of the Young Gods, but also the unbridled freedom of Soft Machine’s fusion meets the sometimes ironic melancholy of Leonard Cohen, underscored by meticulous songwriting.
Demise is a slow cinematic piece, shaped by a Swans-like approach to crescendo – a long patient build when repetition and texture creat tension but without release. Instead of the climax that we can find in other tracks of the album, this one fades into disappearance.
