Gamma Vedetta – “A.C.I.D. Compliant”
End of 2019, the recordings for this mini Ep of the Stoner Gamma Vedetta entitled “A.C.I.D. Compliant” then begin the pandemic, the lockdown, which have not even spared the London trio. On 03 July the band will officially give life to this new work worthy of note that releases captivating sounds and gritty atmospheres. A short but intense journey along the length of four tracks. It starts with a scratchy “Hangup My Boots” whose guitars cut the dark sound emphasized by vocal lines and suggestive choruses. “Porthole” marks a melodic, almost melancholic step with a clean guitar that accompanies a clear voice with a pinch of flanger thus creating a light song with intense vibrations.
A central part that does not try to take off and proposes light solutions with “Lucid Dream (Lockdown Blues) a ballad in full stoner style with interesting grafts of blues and guitar solos that raise the technical average of the musicians.” A.C.I.D. Compliant “closes with a full-bodied, dark track with rough lines that confirms the good potential of the Londoners in the composition phase, proposing a sparkling finish with the beautiful” Everything is terrible and the House Is On Fire “.
