Metuenda - "Metuenda"

Formed in 2022 on the initiative of Flo and Antoine, the Amiens group quickly acquired a guitarist in the person of Jeffrey. First thought of as a rock project, the influences of the members make the style evolve. It was with the arrival of Charles as singer that the group found its definitive lineup and moved more clearly towards metal, with a desire to integrate modern and varied sounds, without leaving aside a certain accessibility of the music.

In less than a year, the quartet composed its first titles and cut its teeth in front of the public in Amiens and Rouen. Their energetic music, made up of catchy choruses as well as jazz, funk passages, or even djent-influenced breaks, quickly seduces with its variety and originality.

Their desire to highlight visceral and intimate subjects, such as mental health and the fight against oppression, shines through in the lyrics. The latter are the fruit of the experiences and convictions of each member, and feature political conflict and debate without concessions.

“Metuenda” , the single took from the new Ep “Brain Parasites”, amazes positively for its powerful and energy managing to involve and drag the listener towards dimensions made of intense and positive vibrations.
A notable sonic impact created thanks to the good synergy between rough guitars and aggressive rhythm section all well blended by a voice that enhances the general potential of the band.
A clear sign of how the underground musical is still full of interesting proposals, with an eye to not falling into the usual cauldron of trivial ideas.
