Misery Cell was formed in August 2023 by Ryan & Matt, two working class guys from Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The goal of Misery Cell is to create uniquely contemporary metal with a hint of an old school feel, using Ryan’s unparalleled music abilities & knowledge of theory, combined with Matt’s incredible ability to write related & catchy lyrics, Misery Cell is metal made by fans for fans.
“Lies”, the new song, gives us an engaging and overwhelming listen, the progression of which generates a vortex of aggressive vibrations, with rough and sharp connections that leave room for more technical and refined riffs, classics of the typically Alternative Metal sound. A dynamic listen with an intense flavor with the intent, in our opinion, very successful of making the song as a whole very fluid and dynamic, thus making its excellent contribution to the cause.
