French alternative-rock four-piece Trank unveil 3D official music video of the single “In Troubled Times (Remixed)”

About one year after the limited but successful release of its debut album, French alternative-rock four-piece TRANK announce the upcoming reissue of ‘The Ropes’, to be re-released worldwide on November as a 2xCD/Digital Deluxe edition.
In the meantime, the band just unveiled a first glance from ‘The Ropes’ “expanded” (including 12 remixes of the original songs) with a 3D official music video illustrating the song “In Troubled Times”, directed by Alban Verneret for Dissension Productions and available right now on YouTube.

TRANK’s « The Ropes – Deluxe Edition » is due for November 2021 and will include the album’s 12 original tracks, mixed in NYC by Brian Robbins (Bring Me the Horizon, Asking Alexandria) & mastered by Andy Van Dette (Porcupine Tree, David Bowie); plus 12 remixes created by David Weber (sound man for the Young Gods), Mokroïé and Aura Shred (both cult French electro acts), and Greco Rossetti (who has recorded Nitzer Ebb), plus the band themselves.
The name of this first remix, « Twelve Inches of Trouble », is a reference to the golden age of the twelve inch single – and the pioneering remixes the band grew up with, from the likes of Depeche Mode, The Cure or Nine Inch Nails.
“TRANK is a band of diverse influences, some of them more obvious than others in the original tracks; we hope that these remixes will be an opportunity for fans of electronica, industrial music and post-punk to discover our sound.”

TRANK are a “new” rock band from France – chosen as opening act by Deep Purple, Anthrax, Papa Roach and Disturbed for their blend of alternative-rock, post-punk and metal.
TRANK are all French but write in English, a testimony to their lifelong love story with British and American acts, and influences too broad to list – from Deftones to Depeche Mode, Motörhead to Muse, Nick Drake to Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd to Porcupine Tree, REM to Rage Against The Machine.
Like all these references, TRANK like to mine the darkest places in the human soul, pull out the worst of life’s frustrations and anxieties, and turn them into moments of catharsis that they can share with people who recognize those same feelings – be it by experience or anticipation.
After a first EP late 2016, and a series of singles in 2018 / 2019 which got them their prestigious opening slots, the guys gave birth to the fruit of all these collaborations with a their first album called ‘The Ropes’ (2020), re-released worldwide in 2021.
