“Ten years have passed since the release of Alchemica, a very important album for us, as it marked a stylistic shift that influenced all subsequent albums.
To celebrate this anniversary, we have reissued the original album, including a remake of the opening track, “Amore Nero,” a quintessential track from the album and a constant feature in our live setlist. The song tells of a love that turns into torment, obsession, and imprisonment, leading the protagonist to desperation and then to death. madness, and introduces the theme of the entire album, which focuses on the transformation of human dynamics as a consequence of an often irreversible and destructive alchemical process.
