“A Spark in the Ashes of a Dead World” is the first of eight chapters of a concept album. Composed by Aaron Zachlod (guitars, vocals, keyboards), the project enlisted a world-class roster of extreme metal royalty: the legendary precision of drummer Hannes Grossmann (Alkaloid, ex-Obscura, ex-Necrophagist), the fluid, masterful fretless bass of Linus Klausenitzer (Alkaloid, Obsidious, ex-Obscura), and the haunting, mythic lyricism and majestic clean vocals of Sotiris Anunnaki V. (SepticFlesh).
DREAMING GOD masterfully weaves complex, aggressive riffing with haunting orchestral arrangements steeped in dark fantasy. The band creates an immersive, apocalyptic audio landscape that is simultaneously brutal and beautiful.
In early 2026, DREAMING GOD introduced the world to their signature brand of symphonic onslaught with their debut demo, The Halls of Shadow.
