Tzarina – “Borrowed Time”
Tzarina is comprised of Craig William on vocals and guitar, Mark Ayesh on guitar and backup vocals, Robert Scott Abrams on drums, and Michael Forsyth on bass. With the constraints resulting from the COVID pandemic, the band was forced to have a bit more of a DIY ethic, with Craig handling the brunt of the songwriting, and recording, while in isolation. This did not stop the rest of the members from contributing where they could and the result is nothing short of a sound that is distinctly their own.
This is a group that takes great pride in its artistry, and it shows in the level of care put into every aspect of their music. It is this dedication that has allowed them to continue to evolve and grow as artists.
They are known for their aggressive live shows juxtaposed with beautifully textured music and thought-provoking lyrics that explore the human experience. With heavy, driving riffs and powerful vocals, Tzarina is poised to become one of the most exciting acts coming up in the Brooklyn area.
Tzarina is a band that is constantly striving to push themselves creatively, and they show no signs of slowing down any time soon. With a new album on the horizon and an ever-growing live show, there is much to be seen and heard from this talented group of musicians. Whether you’re a post-hardcore fan or just appreciate great music in general, Tzarina is definitely a band to keep your eye on.
“Borrowed Time”, give us a concentration of heavy rhythms, evocative voices and distorted sounds. A song with a full-bodied general sound, thanks also to a voice that gives volume and grit, making listening intense and well enhanced by instruments typical of that Alternative Metal sound with the addition of further details that amplify and attack the sound, making it deep, and thus creating the right dynamic.
“Borrowed Time”, has a sound impact of remarkable workmanship a track full of energy . A brutal sound at the same time. The band moves on different dynamics and powerful rhythmic changes.
