Shallow Affect - "Frenzy"

Shallow Affect is a solo project by Dennis Boudet started in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2024. The roots of the project go back many years over the span of multiple life altering events and unfortunate natural disasters. The result is a 5 track EP titled “Out With The Tide.” Dennis played guitar, bass, synth and programming on all the tracks, but had some assistance when it came to recording the vocals.
All music composition, lyrics and melodies, however, are by Dennis. The EP showcases themes of those who get in their own way and letting go of trauma. With influences such as Faith No More, Alice In Chains and STP, the release proves to be a healthy blend of modern rock with some 90’s flannel!
