Remember Me When – “Aftermath”
Hailing from Spokane, WA, Remember Me When is an explosive, aggressive, and introspective post/rock/metalcore group. The group consists of three members; Brendan Lutmer/Vocalist, Lee Huston/Lead Guitarist, and Carson Moyer/Drummer.
The moment we started working on this song we knew we wanted it to be a loud, aggressive, and anthemic track that carried a message that details the feelings that come after escaping some sort of trauma/traumatic situation. In our case we were always told that “once it’s over it gets better” and this song questions that by asking “well, when does it get better?” We believe this song can resonate with those who have experienced life at its worst and are waiting for the peace they were promised.
The song, give us a concentration of heavy rhythms, and distorted sounds. A song with a full-bodied general sound, thanks also to the details, that gives volume and grit, making listening intense and well enhanced by instruments typical of that Alternative Metal sound,
With the addition of further melodic details that amplify and build a fluid the sound, the song sound, is deep and dynamic. “Aftermath”, has a sound impact of remarkable workmanship a track full of energy and powerfull.
