Orcumentary release new video for “Where There’s A Whip, There’s A Way”
Orcumentary is the Orc metal project from the mind of keyboardist/vocalist/songwriter Sean “Orc” Adams. “Where There’s A Whip, There’s A Way” is a raucous cover of the song from the cult 1980 animated The Return of the King film.
Sean comments:
“Over 20 years before the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings trilogy mesmerized millions of geeks worldwide, there were the animated films from Rankin Bass and Ralph Bakshi. While the Peter Jackson LOTR films were obviously humongous improvements on the animated films, one thing they callously omitted was an updated rendition of “Where There’s A Whip, There’s A Way”, perhaps the only song in film history sung by orcs. I did my part to right this terrible wrong by including a cover on my latest album Fully ORChestrated. The music video is an extra bit of fun, showing off orcs doing what they do best: forging weapons, marching, and scowling.”
Taken from the new album Fully ORChestrated, the track fuses the trademark ORCUMENTARY sound with powerful orchestral instruments to introduce a symphonic style. ORCUMENTARY has seen critical acclaim everywhere from Loudwire to Metal Injection. The brand of fantasy and comedy-inspired melodic metal may be off beat – but it has certainly found its fantasy obsessed audience!
