Oigres, out “Don’t Stay Close To Me” the new video for the track, that anticipates the next album
Sergio Vinci (mastermind of the black metallers Lilyum) has released the second album of his solo project OIGRES (alternative/extreme metal), and it is entitled “Don’t Stay Close To Me”. To present the album, a video clip of the title track was made. The release date of the album will be March 12, 2025 on all digital platforms. The physical format will be released later. The album is released by Broken Bones Promotion & Productions and in collaboration with Ghost Record Label and Crashsound Distribution.
Sergio Vinci, the mind and multi-instrumentalist of the project, declares:
“I have always dedicated my life to metal. With Lilyum we have recorded nine albums and for now the situation is on stand by. In the meantime I decided to follow up the first album of the Oigres project by creating this second chapter. In this release, modern metal crosses doom, sludge, hardcore, djent, for a result that I hope will not be too stereotyped. I have always tried to offer my own interpretation of the various styles of metal that I listen to and play. This time I also used instruments that are unusual for me, such as eight-string guitars and I took everything to the extreme, including the lyrics that express, as if it were the diary of a mentally disturbed person, his thoughts. There are moments of pure violence alternating with others of madness, chaos and melancholy. I am proud of this new album of mine, also because I made it entirely by myself. Thanks to those who will follow me even in this dark adventure!”
