Maheshvara, unveils new album “Om Tat Sat” on Black Vulture Records

Ireland-based one-man atmospheric dark metal project MAHESHVARA has announced the release of its latest album, Om Tat Sat, available now through Black Vulture Records. This album marks a significant milestone in the genre, blending dark metal with ritualistic, ambient, and darkwave elements to create a unique and immersive listening experience.

Om Tat Sat is an intricate musical journey that delves into themes of spirituality and existential philosophy, inspired by Sanskrit texts, particularly the “Bhagavad-gita As It Is” by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The album, meticulously crafted by Ivan Mikhailik, features the following tracks:

  Eternal Soul

  Om Tat Sat

  Sense Perception

  Seers of the Truth

  Difference of Understanding

The Self Slays Not Nor the Slain

  Spiritual Spark

  Interim State

Founded in 2020, MAHESHVARA is the brainchild of Ivan Mikhailik, who has single-handedly written, performed, produced, recorded, engineered, and mixed all the music on Om Tat Sat. This project is not just a musical endeavor but a spiritual one, aiming to convey deep philosophical messages through its atmospheric and dark soundscapes.

The album’s cover artwork and design were created by Anna Mikhailik, adding a visual dimension that complements the album’s profound themes.
