“Love H8”, is the thrashy new single from Pythonic’s upcoming “EP 1”
Pythonic, the powerhouse Canadian (Saskatoon-based) metal band, is thrilled to announce the release of their newest single “Love H8”. This marks the second single from their debut “EP 1” set to be released on September 27th. The single “Love H8” is a showcase of the more thrashy side of Pythonic and they deliver a barrage of tasty riffs, they comment:
“This song originated from Vincent and is one of the only songs to showcase him playing leads. Part of what makes this song special is it had some producing help from longtime friend and drummer on the EP Jordan Gall. Jordan came up with the idea for the leads over the chorus riffs while in the studio with Vincent. Drummers got riffs too, who knew.”
“Love H8” musically came out exactly as Pythonic needed it to as a sick thrash song. The idea behind the track was to get people to move and it does just that when played live or just as a recording. The single is a song about how in relationships if one person isn’t healed properly they can project their problems onto the other. Most of the riffs were written in a single sitting only one riff was sourced out to Ryan and it is the killer bridge riff.
Lead guitarist Ryan Hunter and rhythm guitarist Vincent Kohut’s dynamic interplay creates a soundscape that is both ferocious and melodic, while new drummer Jayden Warriner’s aggressive beats drive the track forward with unrelenting energy. Bassist Morgan Warriner locks in with his brother, Jayden, to form a rhythm section that is tighter than ever, adding a solid foundation to the band’s intricate arrangements. Pythonic is recommended for fans of Lamb of God, Devildriver, and Machine Head.
