Genetic Flaw - "Maschinenstürmer"

A side project of ALTAiR, Genetic Flaw is the brainchild of Casey Rochefort. Created to tell the very personal story of one of his best friends that committed suicide at the age of 19, Casey had promised that friend to one day write a concept album about him. A project in the works for longer than his friend lived, it is finally nearing its epic completion…

“re-Render me” will put a sci-fi spin on the life of the late Jeff Atkinson, as he transitions from man to cyborg in an attempt to win Lisa’s heart. It will be released with “Single” versions, as well as story versions that incorporate skits to tell the story – but in a skillfully integrated fashion. A unique take on the concept itself of the ‘concept album,’ this is sure to become a cult classic. Conceived of, written, performed, produced, and designed entirely by Casey Rochefort (save for the cover song, of course), this labor of love will provide the listener with an emotional journey through love, loss, and the struggle with the labors of life itself.

Body and sound depth that blend perfectly with a good dose of fluidity and an intense sound impact are the main details that make listening pleasant. It is not the usual trivial proposal, not even obvious, although the genre is now full of more or less valid proposals.

“Maschinenstürmer” amazes positively for simplicity and naturalness managing to involve and drag the listener towards dimensions made of intense and positive vibrations.
