Duplexity - "Devil In Blue"

DUPLEXITY is an Indie Rock duo emerging in the LA rock scene, Formed by teen siblings Savannah Judy and Luke Judy. Luke and Savannah have been performing their whole lives but decided to take their talents into the studio and create their original sound. The music is inspired by 90’s alternative rock, channeling a hint of metal, mixed to have a modern feel. Their debut single “Billboards” is a nod to their 10-year child actor journey which started in 2013 when they moved to LA. Both Savannah and Luke are accomplished singers who take turns on lead vocals while performing with a live band. Coming from a musical family Luke plays the guitar and Savannah is the bassist.

DUPLEXITY’S debut EP ‘Billboards’, is an upbeat coming-of-age collection of songs that speaks to fellow Gen Z-ers. Since its release, the EP has peaked on the iTunes alternative chart at #3 and gained thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify. In addition, the Single ‘Drop The Act’ peaked at # 5 on the iTunes alternative singles chart and the EP has had 1,200,000+ streams to date.

Body and sound depth that blend perfectly with a good dose of fluidity and an intense sound impact are the main details that make listening pleasant. The guitars mix well, roughensing the atmosphere thus enhancing the listening. It is not the usual trivial proposal, not even obvious, although the genre is now full of more or less valid proposals (and we can certainly put this among the valid ones).

“Devil In Blue” amazes positively for simplicity and naturalness managing to involve and drag the listener towards dimensions made of intense and positive vibrations.
