Cambio Radicale – “Gioco Al Caos”

Cambio Radicale are an Italian band that was born to express above all feelings and to play hard rock in its most classic acceptance of the term. We learn from the biographical notes that: the band was born from the ashes of the Valerio Franchi Band (author of a single album in 2012), driven by the desire to give a new and more complete shape to various ideas of the same singer, in partnership with the guitarist Cesare Fioriti .

With a lineup completed by Vito Svi on bass and Paolo Caridi on drums, without neglecting the excellent hand of Michele Luppi on mastering. And the vocals and guitar seem to be the sections that stand out the most on this album. Valerio Franchi sings in Italian and tries to construct lyrics and metrics that can immediately enter the listener’s heart, telling with a pinch of melancholy and introspection life stories in which everyone can recognize themselves.

The guitar emerges thanks to an excellent riffing, while the drums and bass give body to songs that often lead to 80s metal. The pieces, however, remain melodic even when the band accelerates, as happens in “Tempesta” and “Freneticamente”, even if these are not the only songs to present an almost metal structure. In general, this album involves thanks to a tracklist that does not present poor songs, take for example the excellent “Pazzo”.

An album made by real rockers and aimed at those who want to relive the eighties and nineties of hard rock and melodic metal. Advised.
