Artwork for the Blind , We're all very eclectic people and draw from a lot of different influences

Artwork for the Blind is a Death n Roll band started in July 2012. The current line up includes Sean Coy Curry vocals, Sol. E. Williams guitarist, Mike Hoehn bassist, Larry Myers (Savage Master) drums.
Artwork for the Blind is currently putting the finishing touches on their up coming double album ‘The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Truth’ coming later in 2022.

MetalMusic – Hi there, first of all, tell us something about the band
Artwork for the Blind – Hey, yea so. We are pretty much constantly working on new material and moving forward. Even after this new album hits. We’ll be releasing additional material.

MetalMusic – Which is the main theme of your album ?
Artwork for the Blind – So our upcoming double album (The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Truth) is a concept album about a dystopian future. Where the rich and powerful have wrecked the plant. So much and then the underclasses raise up to destroy them. But the elite try to escape off the plant. The elite have never done anything for themselves. So they end up dying from being inept.

MetalMusic – What about the cover and the title of your album ?
Artwork for the Blind – The cover was a commissioned work. Done by the artist Ryan Case. And depicts an image that is a visual of what the album is about.
The title is a play on words. Kind of a twist on old Spaghetti Westerns. Because we were inspired by a lot of Ennio Morricone’s music.

MetalMusic – Which bands has influenced your sound ?
Artwork for the Blind – It’s hard to pin down. We’re all very eclectic people and draw from a lot of different influences. Florida Death Metal, to Big 4 Thrash, to Black Sabbath.

MetalMusic – Do you think you can still live only on music?
Artwork for the Blind – I can’t really say. Seems like its getting to tougher all the time. I guess we’ll see.
